The end result: once we get on the plane to Prague there will be a sense of relief and I think we will finally be able to relax. This has been a whirlwind of a week - that's for sure. I am glad that we had a chance to party with our new family members before we took off from Eau Claire. What an amazing group of people! Oscar's family is tons of fun. As I write this they are still partying it up at the wedding reception. They are some of the nicest people that I've ever met and they seem like they are really enjoying their time in Wisconsin. I hope we can spend more time with them the next time we visit New York.
Nicole and Dan are staying with us tonight as our last house guests in Eau Claire. It's nice to have them here but I wish we had some place for them to sit! I'm exhausted but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. After we move to Champaign we have movers coming to help us on Tuesday morning. Once we get the truck unloaded we will drive to Chicago with the cats and spend the night with Kaia's aunt and uncle. The next morning we catch a cab to O'Hare and fly out at 11 AM. I get a stomach ache just thinking about all of this.
